Designed for those with less than six months of experience, our beginner program introduces foundational skills. Instruction includes proper stance, how to hold a weapon, basic footwork, eye-hand coordination, fundamental attacks, parries, and fencing rules. These beginner fencing lessons provide a strong foundation for success in the sport.
After mastering the basics, students progress to the intermediate level, focusing on improving speed, agility, and stamina. They learn to use electrical scoring equipment, engage in group bouts, and are encouraged to participate in local, regional, and national tournaments. These intermediate classes prepare fencers to compete confidently.
For those seeking competitive results at the national and international levels, our advanced program focuses on complex offensive sequences, advanced footwork, and strategic planning. Emphasis is placed on mental preparedness and refining techniques. These competitive youth fencing lessons are tailored for serious athletes aiming for excellence.
Our programs are designed around four levels that reflect the natural development and progression of fencers. At each level, we recommend a combination of group classes and private lessons that we believe will best support a fencer’s growth to the next stage.
