Nadiya Fortunatova
Head Coach, Women’s Program
Nadiya’s illustrious fencing career includes competing in the 2004 Olympic Games and winning two Grand Prix World Cup Championships. She has achieved first-place finishes at World Cup events in both Epee and Foil, won championships at the World University Games, and medaled in numerous individual and team events. As the Head Coach of the Women's Program, Nadiya specializes in developing fencing programs for all levels, from beginner to advanced, and has a proven track record of guiding students to success in local, national, and international competitions.
Alex (Oleksiy) Fortunatov
Head Coach, Men's Foil Program
Alex is a former Ukrainian national champion and a distinguished member of the National Fencing Team, representing Ukraine in numerous World Cups, World Championships, and European Championships. Since 2008, Alex has been coaching in the United States, where he has developed comprehensive fencing programs for beginners and advanced fencers alike. His dedication to building competitive youth fencing programs has helped countless students excel in tournaments at all levels.
Both Nadiya and Alex have Masters Degrees in Physical Education and Olympic Sports from the National University of Physical Education and Sports of Ukraine(Kiev).
